Speech Language Pathologist - Grane Home Health Altoona
Grane Home Health Care, one of the leading providers of innovative, versatile home health care, seeks an experienced Speech Language Therapist to assess, diagnose and treat the agency’s elderly in-home patients. This role is critical to the success of Grane’s patients, and will be responsible for aiding and preventing disorders related to speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, swallowing and fluency.

The core of the Speech Language Therapist role is to devise and implement personalized home health plans that meet the unique needs of each client, while complying with all federal and state regulations, reimbursement guidelines and Grane policies/procedures. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
Due to the nature of Grane’s clientele, compassion, flexibility and patience are essential to success in this role. An ability to work independently, successfully troubleshoot and manage a variety of diverse responsibilities are also critical.
Candidates must have a master’s degree in speech pathology is required, as is a current state license to practice speech therapy. Additionally, candidates should be eligible for certification by the American Speech and Hearing Association, be CPR certified and have 1-3 years’ experience as a speech language therapist in a home care setting. McKesson software experience is preferred, and a valid driver’s license is required.
