Home health care provider seeks ADMINISTRATOR/DIRECTOR for high-profile position in our Hollidaysburg office

 

An RN license is preferred, but not required

 

Grane Home Health Care, one of the leading providers of innovative, versatile home health care, seeks an experienced Administrator/Director to oversee the general business affairs and operations for this thriving organization. This high-profile position requires strong managerial, financial, marketing and human resources training, plus an ability to successfully supervise diverse groups of medical and non-medical personnel.

Responsibilities

This role reports directly to the Grane COO and Board of Directors.

 

The Administrator will be responsible for a host of responsibilities throughout the organization, spanning multiple departments and teams. These responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the management and organization of the business affairs and overall operation of Grane, and liaising with both the COO and Board of Directors on these tasks
  • Implementing an effective budgeting and accounting system, and directing the preparation of financial/cost reports and transmissions to relevant individuals/organizations
  • Recruiting and selecting qualified personnel and ensuring successful training, education and ongoing evaluations
  • Developing and implementing new center policies, and ensuring existing policies are effective, efficient and being successfully integrated throughout the organization
  • Devising a successful marketing plan, and overseeing the community relations/PR team to ensure optimal promotional outreach
  • Managing emergency planning for the organization and disseminating necessary training information and crisis communications, as needed
  • Overseeing contract negotiations and executions
  • Developing a method to collect, compile, report and analyze statistical information, to best identify risk areas as well as areas for growth and improvement
  • Managing the maintenance functions of the organization, including the building/grounds, space and equipment, to maximize safety, efficiency and general patient satisfaction

Qualifications

Significant medical training is essential to this role, so all candidates must be licensed physician, registered nurse or have at least one year of experience in a supervisory/administrative role in a home health care or related role. Additionally, because of the nature of this senior-level position, candidates should have strong managerial experience, specifically in a relevant medical environment. Professional proficiency in coding, managed care authorizations and Medicare PPS/FFS is expected.
